Reviews, read honestly

What Our Customers Say

The reviews on this page are pulled straight from our Google Business Profile, unedited and unselected. What follows is not a sales pitch about them, it is a short guide to reading any cleaning review, including the ones written about our competitors.

Where these come from

The carpet cleaning reviews Northern Virginia homeowners leave for us live on our Google Business Profile, and the website pulls them in as they are written. We do not retype them here, trim them, reorder them or hold the lukewarm ones back. That matters, because a hand picked wall of praise on a company website tells you only that the company owns the website. A profile you can open yourself, in a tab we do not control, is a different kind of evidence.

What a useful review actually tells you

A star count on its own is thin. Over more than a decade of carpet cleaning in Fairfax and Loudoun, the reviews that would have helped us most as customers are the ones with detail in them. When you read carpet cleaning reviews, look for four things:

  • Whether the person who looked at the job is the person who did the work.
  • Whether the carpet dried when the cleaner said it would.
  • What happened with a problem area, not just the easy middle of the room.
  • Whether furniture was moved back where it belonged.

A review that says a wool runner in McLean came back without shrinking, or that pet odor removal in Ashburn actually held after two weeks, is worth ten that say great job. The same goes for the honest three star note that says the sofa took longer than promised. We would rather you read that one too.

Ask on your own street

The strongest reference is the one you find yourself. If you live in Herndon or Sterling, ask a neighbor who cleaned their carpet and whether they would call the same person again. If you want a reference nearer than that, call and ask us for one on your street or in your ZIP code. After more than a decade here, there is usually a house within a few blocks that has had upholstery cleaning or rug washing done. Practical questions about the work itself are answered on the FAQ page.

The sectional looked past saving. It does not now. Very careful with the fabric and the legs.

About our reviews

Where do the reviews on this page come from?

They are pulled directly from our Google Business Profile by the website. Nothing is retyped, shortened or reordered on our end, and no review is written by us. If you would rather read them at the source, open the profile and scroll. That is the version we would look at ourselves before hiring anybody to work inside our house.

Do you filter which reviews appear?

No. Whatever sits on the profile appears here, in the order Google returns it. Filtering would defeat the point of showing reviews at all. If a review criticizes something we did, it stays visible, and it is usually more useful to a reader than the short positive ones because it describes a specific situation and how it was handled.

What should I look for in a cleaning review?

Detail. Which rooms, which fiber, what the problem was and whether it came back. Whether the person quoting the job did the work. Whether the drying time matched what was promised, and whether furniture went back where it belonged. A long review about a difficult stain tells you more than a dozen short ones that only say the crew was nice.

Can I talk to a past customer near me?

Usually yes. Call and tell us your street or your ZIP code and we will look for a nearby job we have done. Over more than a decade in the same counties there is often a house within a few blocks. We ask that customer first, and if they would rather not be contacted, we say so instead of handing out a number.

Why not write testimonials into the website yourself?

Because anybody can type a testimonial. A quote sitting on a company page with a first name under it proves nothing about the company, and everyone in this trade knows it. A live profile that any customer can add to, including a customer who is unhappy, is harder to fake and therefore worth more to you as a reader.

How do I leave a review after my appointment?

Search the business name in Google Maps or Google Search and use the review button on the profile. We do not send reminder texts or ask twice. If you want to say something to us instead of publicly, call the number on this site and it reaches the owner rather than an office, which is often the faster way to get something fixed.

What happens if I am not happy with the work?

Call the same number you booked on and tell us what is wrong. Because the person who cleaned your carpet is the owner, there is nobody to escalate to and no dispatcher in the middle. We come back and look at the area in question. Most complaints in this trade are about wicking spots or a drying time nobody explained, and both are fixable.

Does a long review history matter more than a high rating?

Both matter, but consistency over years matters most. A company with a short burst of reviews in one month and nothing since tells you less than one with steady feedback across seasons, because carpet cleaning changes with humidity, holidays and heating. Look at whether the recent reviews describe the same experience as the older ones.

Have a look at it in person

Walkthroughs are free and take about fifteen minutes. We agree the scope together and point out anything that will not come out before a hose comes off the truck. Over a decade in Northern Virginia and that has not changed.
